"I did, actually. I can't even talk on it, but I can say that I've been in studio working on projects with Rihanna - well, for Rihanna, basically. I flew to Italy and we did some work and it's looking good, so we'll see how it goes," dancehall artiste Kranium said in a recent radio interview.

Pop princess, Rihanna, has been teasing fans about her eighth studio album and has also been hinting she wants to throw in some reggae and dancehall tracks in the final compilation. She says she wants to create timeless music.

Online articles revealed that the singer's camp reached out to several dancehall and reggae artistes. At least one such artiste has come forward saying Rihanna has been making good on her promises.

In an interview with ABC News Radio, one of dancehall's newest sensations, Kranium, said he has done work for the R&B singer that will be included in her upcoming album. Kranium also spoke on why collaborating with mainstream stars is a big deal for many reggae and dancehall acts. "It's very good! I mean, at the end of the day, that's Rihanna, you know. You have R&B artistes that come to Jamaica to work with certain reggae artistes because we are big in our own world," he explained. "You know, it's just perfect when it's clashed, so I'm just taking it one day at a time."
