Entertainer Empire Isis airlifted to Montreal after accident in Jamaica

empire-isis.jpgCanadian entertainer Empire Isis was airlifted from Jamaica to Canada following a motor vehicle accident last week Sunday outside of Yallas, St. Thomas.

The singer, songwriter and social activist, who has been living in Kingston Jamaica for two years, was travelling from St. Thomas to Kingston with her road manager when the accident occurred.

Her FB page was updated with the following:

Empire Isis was in a serious car accident over the weekend in Kingston Jamaica. She was badly injured with a fractured skull and multiple broken bones. She's currently in Kingston Public Hospital awaiting Medevac Ambulance airlift to Canada for surgery. Empire has been living in Kingston recording new music over the past year. We're asking all of her fans, friends and supporters to send your love, light and blessings to her as she returns to Canada to get the medical attention she needs. Let's all lift her up and hold a vision of her completely healed and living out a long healthy happy life! We'll be posting a link to a page where we'll keep you updated on her progress, and where you can make donations to help cover the mounting costs of her medical expenses.
