The songs include Password, Summertime (featuring Binx ) and Teacha Gone which was produced by Crownus Records. Passionate about the music, the artiste, who travels between Jamaica and Cayman, where he now resides, is a workaholic. On any given day of the week you can find Jah Reefa at the recording studio creating new material and keeping his vocals in top shape.

"I'm not waiting on anyone to hand me a thing" the artist said "I work hard that's all I know, it's how I was raised," says the artiste, whose older brother, Coolant Brown toured with the Wailers as lead singer, before launching his own solo career.

Quite upbeat about the impact that the singles have been making, Jah Reefa was full of thanks for those who have supported him by helping to push out his music.

"The radio disc jockeys have been extremely helpful, both in Jamaica and in Cayman and I really appreciate it. The sound system selectors deserve a big up. There's nothing like being in a big dance and hear a selector draw your tune," Jah Reefa, who was recently in Jamaica for a family gathering declared.

Born in St Thomas, Jamaica, he grew up among a music loving family, at times Jah Reefa and his cousins would often entertain their family and friends with lyrical clashes idolizing the songs of Bounty Killer and Beenie Man, as a child he had a typical Jamacian childhood playing football, cricket and entering talent shows.

While attending Seaforth High School in 2002 Jah Reefa relocated to live with his parents in the Cayman Islands where he finished high school; he continued to develop his love for music by frequently writing and recording at Black Gould Studio "every-night after football practice" he explained "that's where I learned to develop my own style and took the term "lyrical content" to a new heights.

Jah Reefa brings a unique hardcore flavor to the Dancehall scene and is creating a waves on the local scene and have opened shows for Damian Marley and Shaggy. Last year Jah Reefa traveled to Ireland where he performed at the Electric Picnic to an audience of 45,000 onlookers. "It was a great experience, I've been to Ireland before but never on a musical journey. To see how people gravitate to my music have more than boosted my confidence the artist said"
