Dexta Daps to light up Beer Wendzdays

Dexta Daps got his biggest break when he released the single 7 Eleven. He has been trying to make a name for himself since 2006, and it took that one hit song for him to start creating a lot of stir with his hot, thought-provoking single.

People started towards gravitate to his melodic sound and sensual lyrics, which has caused his earlier releases to start circulating and getting more air play. Dexta Daps will be the featured artiste on Red Stripe Beer Wendzdays, set for April 1, at the Kaluga Kafe.

The Calabar past student was heavily influenced by veteran artistes Shabba Ranks, Bounty Killer, and Elephant Man, who also hail from his community in Seaview Gardens. He has released songs such as Pretty Nicky, Scared to Love, This a The Best, Morning Love, and Head Inna Di Bag.

Since 7 Eleven, he has released a collaboration with dancehall sensation Tifa on the song Jealous Ova, which has been in heavy rotation. They have just released the music video for that single, and it has been getting a lot of amazing feedback.
