There are reports that Delta Airlines flight 384 that left the Norman Manley International Airport at 9:17 a.m. this morning was forced to return to the island minutes ago.

An airport employee told the Gleaner that the passengers, who have been removed from the aircraft, will be housed in the in-transit lounge until a decision is taken as to what will happen next.

According to the airport source, the pilot of the Atlanta-bound aircraft decided to return to the NMIA after detecting a problem with the back right engine.
