The Government has collected $340 million in the just-ended traffic ticket amnesty.

Of the amount, $204 million was collected on the last day of the amnesty.

The Government had estimated that there was $2.5 billion in outstanding tickets.

Persons who did not take advantage of the amnesty will have to settle these tickets in the traffic court when sessions resume on Monday, January 7.
