A man is now in police custody after he was accused of raping a 9 year old girl.

Reports are that the accused was apprehended by the Fletchers Land Police Station.

The 9 year old complainant has been taked to the Centre for the Investigation of Sexual Offences and Child Abuse (CISOCA).

The suspect is said to be at the Kingston Central police lock up.
