A man who the St. Catherine North Police say was aligned to the Clansman Gang was yesterday afternoon shot dead and his body dumped on a road leading to Sligoville.

He has been identified as 21 year old Matthew Grant of Tredegar Park in St. Catherine.

Reports are that Grant was an associate of late wanted man James Hinds, who was implicated in a flare up of violence in Tredegar Park two years ago.

It's believed that he was killed by one of his cronies.

At the time of his death, Mr. Grant was out on bail for murder and shooting.
