Dancehall artiste Captain Barkey, who was killed by his lover's ex boyfriend will take place on Friday November 9 at the Portmore Missionary Church.

The funeral will be handled by Brite Lite Funeral Home.

His body will be reportedly laid to rest at Up Park Camp in St Andrew, the headquarters of the Jamaica Defence Force (JDF), of which Barkey is a former member.

Barkey was killed on October 13. His 38 year old lover, Tracy Bennett was also killed.

Bennett's ex-lover, Joseph Kernizan, was reportedly responsible for the murders, but committed suicide before he was caught.
