Two brothers were shot and killed by unknown assailants in a section of Angels Estate in Spanish Town, St. Catherine.

They have been identified as 34-year-old Jermain Lawrence o/c 'Koolie' a farmer of a Spanish Town address while his brother 25-year-old Barrington Robinson of a Tawes Pen address.

According to reports, the brothers along with a driver were travelling to Angels Estate where they encountered a road block.

The driver of the vehicle went looking for assistance to remove the road block, leaving the brothers behind.

He then heard explosions coming from the vehicle. The Police were summoned and when they arrived on the scene they found the bullet riddled body of the brothers with one of them partially burnt.

Police are investigating.
