Police Officer in bribery case seeks counselling

The Officer at the centre of the alleged bribery case involving Senior Superintendent of Police James Forbes, Member of Parliament Daryl Vaz and businessman Bruce Bicknell is undergoing psychological counseling for the trauma associated with the series of events that has taken place in the past few days.

Chairman of the Police Confederation, Sargeant Raymond Wilson said the head of the Jamaica constabulary Force Chaplain unit, Bishop Gary Welch was asked to provide counseling for Llewellyn and his family. Sargeant Wilson did not say whether or not Lllewellyn and his family were in fear of their lives, he did make it clear however that he has the support of the federation legal and otherwise if it is necessary.
