Bail hearing is set for July 17 for radio broadcaster, Wayne Whyte, who is facing a charge of attempted murder and illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition.

The hearing date was set today when Whyte and a second accused appeared before the Home Circuit Court. Both men are accused of trying to kill female radio broadcaster, Jody Ann Gray.

Ms Gray was shot in the face by gunmen who attacked her at her gate in Cedar Grove, St Catherine in April.
