Nearly 100 million dollars worth of ganja was found at Kingston Container Terminal earlier this week.
During an examination of transshipment containers on Monday, 509 pounds of the weed was found.
The drug which has a street value of 98 million dollars was concealed in a 40 foot refrigerated container of boneless beef. The contraband was found stacked in five large travelling bags on top of the beef.
No one was arrested.
The marijuana was handed over to the Jamaica Constabulary Force's Trans-National Crime and Narcotics Division (TCND) for further investigation.
The container was loaded in Panama and destined to Barbados via Kingston.
