The police are giving a different account of the circumstances that led to the shooting of a man who washes cars at a mart in Montego Bay, St James late this evening causing a huge traffic pile-up.

An eyewitness had reported that the victim was shot dead by a motorist who was angered after the man spat on his car.

However, the police say their preliminary investigation indicates that the man was shot by an assailant on foot near the traffic lights at the intersection of River Bay Road and Howard Cooke Boulevard.

The shooter is said to have made his way from the River Bay Road Fishing Beach and shot the man then escaped on foot.

The incident resulted in a long line of traffic along the Boulevard.
  • Was this eyewitness blind, why he said that this person was shot by the vehicle owner, you should not make statements about such incidents when you are not clear about it, this is really sad windshield wipers have to work hard to live a life and someone shot this guy, i wonder how this will turn out for his family.

  • Windshield wipers come in a variety of different styles and sizes. Some cars have only one blade, most have two. Some systems wipe in tandem, others wipe in opposition to each other. Blade length can vary anywhere from 12 to 28-inches.

  • What you determine first is the size of the windshield wipers that you would need for your car. Department stores usually have a chart to help you find out what size you should get.
