Jamaica once again underlined its dominance of regional track and field, emphatically topping the competition at the 41st Carifta Games, which came to a close at the National Sports Centre in Bermuda yesterday. 

The Bahamas took second place with 14 gold medals, 14 silver and 12 bronze medals. The Bahamas was followed by Trinidad and Tobago who finished third on the medal table with six gold medals, nine silver and seven bronze.
