The Bob Andy Unplugged concert took over Jamaica College last Friday evening pulling scores of supporters and performers. Twenty-nine artistes turned out to celebrate the veteran songwriter's compositions on his 67th birthday. Some of the most memorable performances were given by Della Manley, Myrna Hague and dub poet, Mutabaruka who did a medley of four songs. Meanwhile, the man of the moment sang 'Friends', from his 1983 album, to show his gratitude for the concert, which was organised to fund his present and future medical bills.
