The Wailers join Ricky Martin for the closing of the Pan Am Games The Wailers, the world's most celebrated reggae group, and tour-mate Duane Stephenson, recognized as one of reggae's most talented sons, performed with an all-star line-up for the closing ceremony for the XVI Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico on Sunday, October 30, 2011. The Pan American Games is the largest international sporting event this year, representing the 6,000 athletes from 42 countries participating in 36. The Wailers and Duane Stephenson will perform a three-song set that begins with "A Step for Mankind," the track they released together last year to benefit the United Nations World Food Programme, as well as "Three Little Birds" and "One Love." Following this performance in Mexico, the Wailers will begin their Fall/Winter 2011 North American tour dates, which kicks off in Montreal, Quebec on November 18 at the Corona Theatre.
