Jay-Z Finally Talks About Beyonce's Pregnancy

It's about time one of them talked about it without just rubbing her belly and smiling. It was cute the first time, but now it's like they're trying to get a genie to come out of that thing or something.
On Thursday, rapper/hip-hop king Jay-Z hosted a charity carnival for the Shawn Carter Foundation. In case you don't know, Jay-Z's real name is Shawn Carter. "The Jay-Z Foundation" just doesn't sound as official.
Shut up about his name and get to the baby talk! Alright, alright. At the event, E! News asked Jay-Z how he feels about the upcoming baby, and he said:
"I'm excited! I think that is pretty easy."
Yeah, that's all he said. And I'm not even entirely sure what he means. Sure, I guess it's easy for him. Although Beyonce makes it look pretty damn easy, too. She gets onstage in 4" heels and dances her ass off. I can't even do that, and I'm nowhere close to being pregnant right now. Unless a Chipotle burrito counts.
Jay-Z also talked about a humbling moment he had:
"Someone emailed me this morning and said 'Some people climb the ladder and grab the ladder. And some people pull more people up the ladder and you are a person who pulls more people up the ladder.' I was very humbled by that."
The Shawn Carter Foundation gives scholarships to kids who can't afford college. At the event, Jay-Z threw a carnival to raise funds for the foundation. The rapper continued:
"If you want to be lazy, that's a different thing. But if you apply yourself and do everything that you have to do to get to a certain point and can't go further because of your financial situation, I think that is a shame."
And good news for Obama, he's got at least one vote in 2012:
"I still think he is the best man for the job," Jay-Z said. "Yes, I think he got a raw deal and a bad economy. You wouldn't be given anything you can't handle so he must be really special, because he has a lot of work to do!"
Speaking of a lot of work, Beyonce's pregnancy hasn't been holding her back one bit. She's been doing everything from performing to collaborating to promoting her latest fragrance. It might be kind of tricky, because the singer's sense of smell has been changing since being pregnant.
"I smell everything," she said. "If it smells bad, I smell it. My husband's fragrance, his one that I always love, I hate right now. So thank God I have this one!"
