Out of nowhere, the MOBO Awards people dem pick Albarosie inna the lineup fi this year award. Dem have Damian and Nas, Mavado and Khago, in addition to di Italian dread. We hear say Albarosie gwaan good inna Europe, but we doan know not even one song dat him sing, cause him music doan play a Jamaica. And him doan perform a Jamaica, even though a here him live. But we nah tell no lie, his year list of nominees doan cut it at all, but we sih dem all di best.
Don't forget that Alborosie has been called instead of the REAL nominated artist, JAH CURE, excluded probably for his past..
I think that he wouldn't reach that nomination in other way, not this year.
Anyway, Alborosie sold many more cds than Mavado all over Europe, so reggae scene must consider this ;)
And maybe Jamaicans will discover Alborosie at least, after 8 years living in Kingston... the only place where he doesn't perform is Jamaica.
Yeahman, is totally mad and strange. Or..?
Strange because all the world know hits like "Herbalist" and "Kingston Town", specially in Jamaica.
If you dislike him, it's ok. But don't tell the world you dunno Alborosie.. ;)
Same thing Europe should say about Khago: a who him? 1 hit and NOTHING more. Differend from almost 3 albums who did the sold out in Europe.

The MOBO awards are based in the UK ! NOT IN JAMAICA ! Alborosie is huge in Europe and sold more records than Khago , Jah Cure and Movado over there . The awards are called Music Of Black Origins ..Its not the JOBO's ..Give the Bredren a chance and check him hits on Youtube , his hit Kingston Town has more than 6 millions views! He had a huge tune with Etana in the UK and the youth last album was number one over here . So big up Alborosie whatever the Badminded people say.. Khago was nominated on the strenght of ONE song !

ALBOROSIE IS DOING VERY FINE IN EUROPE , ACTUALLY THERE ARE A LOT OF REGGAE SINGERS IN EUROPE DOING A BETTER REGGAE THAN THE JAMAICAN ONES , SLACKNESS THAT IS GOING ON IN JAMAICA IS NOT GOOD TRUST ME. AS USUAL THE MARLEYS ARE PERFORMING EXCELLENT OVERSEAS AND KEEPING IT UP SO DO NOT ASK WHEN THEY GET ALL THE GRAMMIES WHY THEY GET IT THEY ARE PERFORMING ALL OVER THE WORLD .
REMEMBER THE GRAMMIES AND INTERNATIONAL PRICES ARE NOT GIVEN BECAUSE OF PERFORMANCES IN JAMAICA .
