A verdict is expected to be handed down before the end of the week in the trial
of American evangelist Reverend Paul Lewis.
The trial, which is in its second week, will continue Wednesday in the
Westmoreland Circuit Court.
So far six witnesses have testified.
They include two doctors who gave evidence on Tuesday.
The Circuit Court is slated to end this Friday and Reverend Lewis should know
his fate by then.
The pastor, who is the head of Paul Lewis Ministries, was charged on June 17
last year.
Allegations are that he took two girls aged 14 and 15 to a hotel in Negril. He
is alleged to have fondled the 14 year old, and had sex with the other teenager.
