LIME's 12 days of Christmas

When LIME Jamaica and Cayman managing director, Garry Sinclair flicks the switch at the Mega Roundabout by Portmore Mall just before 6:00 pm, he will be also lighting up the lives of Portmore's residents, especially the children, with 12 days of top-notch entertainment — all free.
The tree, which will be lit up at about the same time every evening up to Christmas Eve, is the hub of LIME's free Christmas Village Pon Di Remix, to be also officially opened on Monday. The Village has a 'Kiddie's Cawna' with Candyland, rides and board games, and there is also a Winter Wonderland, Town Square Theatre, Gingerbread House and Grande Market. Santa's LIME assistants will be in the LIME workshop, which features a BlackBerry interactive area.
Among the entertainment gifts that the telecommunications company will unwrap close to the tree every night are a concert with Fabulous Five Incorporated Band, gospel by Sister Scully and Grace Thrillers, Elva and Company telling side-splitting jokes, a preview of the Sting mega concert, choir performances, Dancing Dynamites and LIME Dancers displaying stunning co-ordinated moves and carols by the Worthly Choir Girls.
It all climaxes with the LIME Pon De Remix concert on Christmas Eve.
