Cop’s death now being investigated as homicide

The Clarendon Police have switched the focus of their investigation into the death of a Constable who was attached to the Traffic Department at the May Pen Police Station.

The matter involves Constable Andrew Mighty, 49, who was found dead at his home in the Longville Park Housing Scheme, on September 28 about 2:30 in the afternoon.

According to a recent autopsy, Constable Mighty died as a result of a broken neck.

Investigations have now revealed that his death is now being treated as a Homicide.

The source added that several people, including a brother of Constable Might, who were initially questioned, will face further questioning.
