It’s Nationwide for Raga

Yes, all the speculations can now be put to rest. The mix up king Ragashanti will be heading to Nationwide 90FM to resume the ‘tamborine’ session.

On Wednesday, October 5 he will kick off his programme.

A release from Nationwide last evening stated that the programme will be aired weekdays from 1:00- 5:00 pm.

Executive Producer of Nationwide 90FM, Cliff Hughes says, "This marks a new era in the history of Nationwide 90FM. In a sense, it's like Kingsley is coming home. Many people don't realise that he first started on radio as a co-host of Nationwide at Five in 2002, when we were on another radio station."

Hughes continues, "Nationwide 90FM has always been daring in the formatting of its programmes. Our talk format will remain, as we continue to expand our reach to Jamaicans from all walks of life, both here and abroad. Kingsley is a welcomed addition to the Nationwide 90FM family. His addition to Nationwide 90FM will diversify our suite of products and programmes to reach every demographic group and grow our market share."

Commenting on the move Ragashanti says " I am excited to recommence Ragashanti Live with the team that first gave me the opportunity to be a presenter on radio. I look forward to growing and developing and being able to provide entertainment radio at its best."

As a result of the revamping of the schedule a number of programmes will be affected while new ones will be introduced.
