Double sprint world record holder Usain Bolt, has set his sights on lowering the 100 metres world record at the Olympic Games in London in 2012.

Bolt posted a mind boggling 9.58 seconds over the distance at the world championship in Berlin, Germany last year but he believes he can shave something off that in two years time.

“There is a possibility of that because I have worked hard over the years to run that fast so my aim is to try to get it as low as possible so I have a lot of work ahead of me.

My coach says it’s two more years before I peak so I guess I have a lot of work left in me,”

“The Olympics is the biggest stage for athletes so that’s the main focus for me and that’s what I am working towards and it should be exciting,” Bolt said.
