A keen contest between top American sprinter Tyson Gay and young rising Jamaican sprinter Yohan Blake will be one of the highlights of the two-day London Diamond League Meet starting on Friday, August 13.

Twelve other Jamaicans including 400 metre world leader Jermaine Gonzales are down to compete over the two day meet.

With Asafa Powell withdrawing today due to his continued back problem, the attention in the men's 100 metres will be between Blake and Gay.

Blake showed his continued rapid improvement when he gave Gay a scare in the 200 metres at the Monaco Diamond League Meet last month.

The improving Mario Forsythe will be the other Jamaican in the men's 100 metres.

Fro the females, Sherone Simpson and Kerron Stewart, returning from injury, will also be in action on the first day along with Delloreen Ennis-London.

Ricardo Chambers, Shericka Williams, Novlene Williams-Mills and Kaliese Spencer will be in action on Saturday.

Live coverage of the meet can be seen on Television Jamaica starting at noon Friday and at 9:30am on Saturday.
