The first Magnum Queen winner in 2008, will be returning to the classroom full-time in September when she will be pursuing a degree in Communication Arts and Technology at UTech.

The resolute dancehall artiste said she has taken the decision to balance her entertainment career with a sound education.

"I plan to go back to school because persons know education is the way to go. People know music is unpredictable.

It is not a joyride or a bed of roses. I am not a quitter, but I am not the kind of person who will sit around and when I reach 30, I am still trying to get out there," declared Baby Tash.

"Also, I am spontaneous and I love to have options and like to know I can do what I want to do whenever I want to do it. I am just opening up more avenues for myself in regards to a career path".

Baby Tash said she took a break from studying in 2005 as she was having difficulty juggling work at Dehring, Bunting and Golding where she was employed as a human resource assistant; and classes at UTech.

In 2006 she accepted an offer to work as an entertainment co-ordinator at Sandals Montego Bay.

It was while she was at Sandals Montego Bay that she entered the Magnum Kings and Queen competition and came out as the top female. Singer Jah was crowned the Magnum King.
