Minister and gospel singer Dr. Carlene Davis thrilled thousands in Canada last week at the renowned Revival Time Tabernacles in Toronto, delivering another spiritually charged performance to the large gathering as the specially invited guest of Bishop Dr. Audley James, the church’s presiding pastor.

This postdates her recent trip to the African continent, where she and husband Tommy Cowan ministered in Uganda saving many lives while imparting the teachings of Christianity.

Now back in the island, Dr. Davis last Wednesday attended the launch of Denbeigh at the Hi-Pro Ace Supercentre in White Mall, St. Catherine.

Where she met with various executives to discuss the way forward for the upcoming Denbeigh Gospel Extravaganza, slated for August 1, 2010.

In attendance at the launch where Committee Chairman Senator - Norman Grant, Leon Mitchell - Marketing and Sales Promotion Executive at The Jamaica National Building Society, Glendon Harris - President of the Jamaica Agricultural Society, Dr. Christopher Tufton - Minister of Agriculture and Fisheries, Donovan White - Head of Marketing at Digicel Jamaica, Christopher Levy - President of the Jamaica Boilers Group among others.

The annual Agricultural Show will be staged at the Denbeigh Showground in Clarendon from July 31 to August 2 under the theme "Eat What We Grow and Grow What we Eat".
