Bolt anchors Jamaica team to victory at Penn Relays


News out of the Penn Relays is that the Usain Bolt-anchored Jamaica men's 4x100 team won their race in a meet record of 37.90 seconds.
USA Blue was second in 38.33.

USA Red, on which Portland-based Ryan Bailey had the lead-off leg, was third in 38.50.

At the end of the race, the crowd -- in keeping with the Bolt-mania that has seized fans of all ages ever since the sprint dynamo’s arrival -- went crazy as Bolt acknowledged the cheers after the victory by Jamaica's Gold team.

Bolt's anchor split was reportedly timed in 8.79.
