Reggae singer Beres Hammond’s Harmony House studio in Kingston was the location for an album project by Hollywood actor and singer, Leon.


According to reports, Leon — whose band, Leon and the Peoples, has opened for Beres in the past while touring the United States — has asked Beres to produce one of the tracks on his upcoming album.
“We have long talked about working together, and it has all finally come together,” Leon is quoted as saying.


Leon, who played a lead role in the film, Cool Runnings, was in Jamaica during the week of the Jamaica Jazz & Blues Festival, and divided his time between the studio and the festival in Trelawny.
Leon, now back in the States, returns to the island later this year to complete the recording.
