I affirm divine guidance for all leaders.

Today I honor the leaders of the past who have helped create justice, peace and progress in the world, and I pray for the current leaders who guide our global community.

I support decision-makers in prayer. I believe they can reach wise and fair conclusions for all involved. As I pray, I remember that God is present in all people and in all circumstances. I release any concerns in the sanctity of prayer. I place my trust in God.

Perhaps I, too, may be inspired to lead in some way--by joining a volunteer group, assuming leadership at work or even running for public office. Whatever the inspiration, I respond with a willing and peaceful heart.

We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: ... the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness.--Romans 12:6, 8
