
Top dancehall group for 2006, Voice Mail, will this weekend participate in a number of pre and post parties associated with the Super Bowl sporting series in the Florida, USA.
In a release, group member Oneil Edwards was quoted saying 'We are happy to be going off to attend the Super Bowl series. We were specially invited by the organizers to come and party with the stars. It's an opportunity for us to maximize as best as we can'.
Voice Mail capped off a successful year in 2006. The group topped the charts for three weeks with their debut album Hey which was released by VP Records. The first single Get Crazy hit the top 10 on the charts. But it was the single Let's Dance produced by Donovan Bennett on the Higher Altitude rhythm, which soared to the top of the charts.

Sadly, Reggae lost another great ambassador, Brent Dowe of The Melodians, who was 59 years old. Reggae industry players petitioned Grammy Awards organisers to include the Reggae presentation during the live show to be viewed worldwide - to no avail.
