Championing the genre, 'progressive reggae', the band Gullibanque stepped into the breach this week in a bid to push reggae to new frontiers worldwide. The launch of their new CD, held in the bowels of the Knutsford Court Hotel in Kingston was attended by small group of media, friends, fellow musicians and other well-wishers. The group, formed by Paul Campbell, in 1988 has displayed its artistry and bugled its message-driven brand of reggae all across Jamaica for several years winning an IRAWMA award for Best Band, Best Female Vocalist and Best Bass Player.
