Redstripe_Beer.jpg"Live Red" is the theme of the newly launched Red Stripe Beer campaign, unveiled at the Terra Nova on Wednesday, September 27.

According to Carlo Redwood, group marketing manager, Red Stripe, "This new campaign signals a new and exciting phase in the evolution of the Great Jamaican Beer. As the theme "Live Red" suggests, life is really just for living, but living to the full. It inspires and encourages us to embrace life with a passion. "Live Red" is also a celebration of the Jamaican culture and spirit, and embodies the courage, vitality and resilience of our people."

It is the same indomitable spirit of the Jamaican people that has helped to define the beer many have come to know and love, and has withstood the test of time as the leading lager beer for generations.

BujuBanton_Tour_Too_bad.jpgDespite spirited efforts by the black lesbian, gay and trans-sexual community, Buju Banton's 'Too Bad' tour rolls on with a show that was recently cancelled being rescheduled at another Hollywood venue.

Head promoter of Jamaican Gold, Jamie Koz, issued a statement to the media recently that stated that "the Buju show has been officially rescheduled for the same date Tuesday, Oct 3rd at a new venue the Century Club".

"The owners there have done the proper research on Buju Banton. Realizing that Buju has already apologized for his actions back in 1992 when the incident was first addressed, they have agreed to let the show go on... They also realize that Buju's music no longer reflects any sort of anti-gay lyrics. His music is spiritual and positive. And that is the vibe that we present at Jamaican Gold. A place for people of all creeds to get together in unity and enjoy spiritual uplifting music. For the record, Jamaican Gold does not, in any way, condone violence against any race or person for religious beliefs, personal preferences or sexual orientation," the statement said.

Gay letter to club owners - Buju Banton & Beenie Man

Gay_Letter_Buju_Beenie.jpgSample Letter
Dear Century Club General Manager:

I understand that your venue will be featuring Buju Banton on October 3, 2006 and Beenie Man on October 22, 2006. I would like you to know that both Buju Banton and Beenie Man have a long history of homophobia and incitement of anti-gay violence.

Beenie Man, as you may recall, in his song "Han Up Deh," sings, "Hang
chi chi gal wid a long piece of rope." The term "chi chi" is a Jamaican reference to homosexuality. The term is often used to refer to "chi chi men" but can also refer to lesbians (chi chi women or chi chi girls). Loosely translated, the lyrics mean, "Hang lesbians with a long piece of rope." And there are other songs where he calls for the murder of gays. Banton was accused of being involved in a homophobic attack in Kingston two years ago.

While Banton said the charges were "completely untrue and wholly unfounded," he continues to be protested for his song "Boom Bye Bye," which is well known for the violence it calls for against gays including the shooting of gay people in the head, pouring acid over them, and setting them on fire.

Movado_Cops_arrested_dancehall_Bounty_killer.jpgSources close to deejay Mavado, a prominent member of Bounty Killer's Alliance, revealed that the deejay was allegedly beaten by cops who had gone to detain him for questioning with regards to an incident where an engineer known as 'Kerry' - who is employed to the Exodus studio in Kingston - made a formal report that he had been beaten by a group of men who had accused him of "splicing a Mavado dub".

'Splicing' is an illicit practice within the entertainment industry where skilled studio technicians are able to cleverly manipulate the voice of in-demand entertainers by joining together or inserting phrases of actual copyrighted work to create new material which gives the impression of an actual dub performed by the said artiste for a sound system.

"The policeman said that Mavado tell them to 'go s**k yu madda', and that they had no alternative but to use force to apprehend him. They had gone to detain him for questioning in relation to the report made by the Exodus engineer but it appeared that one thing led to another, and the police started to beat him after they felt he dissed them. But I believe that the policemen should not have lost their temper, they caan tek things into their own hand, they should have arrested him and put an additional charge on him for abusive language," the source told YardFlex.com last night.

Turbulence_and_Sasha.jpgFormer lovers-turned-rivals Sasha and Turbulence have embarked on a lyrical war of sorts on the new Downsound Records' 'Sika' rhythm. The songs have been creating quite a buzz in dancehall circles as they are centred around the couple's juicy break-up last year.

Just two years ago, the two basked in the glow of their relationship, recording popular songs such as 'Natty Pon Di Frontline' and the hit single, 'We've Got The Love', with an accompanying video that seemed
to cement their blossoming relationship.

However, the entertainers' relationship soured late last year after Sasha found out about Turbulence's 'extra-curricular' activities outside their relationship. All that was months ago, but last week,
Turbulance recorded a single called 'No Man No Perfect' and Sasha returned fire with the well-written 'Got What You Need'.

Buju_Banton_Tour_Gays_Reggae_Dancehall_Beenie_man_Elephant_manA.jpgA vocal segment of the population of Bloomington, Indiana has come out in full support of reggae superstar Buju Banton, and are incensed that he was not allowed to perform in the Bluebird Theatre last week as part of his 'Too Bad' tour of North America.

YardFlex.com obtained a copy of a letter from a frustrated fan called Rob Council who wrote that: "...I am one of many who are frustrated that Buju's show was cancelled in our town of Bloomington Indiana. I have had many a heated discussion with my gay and straight friends about this matter. And I understand their need to feel safe. But think of all the people put there who are actually out there hurting people for sick reasons. Think of all the horrible things going on in our world. One man's words are but a drip in the bucket of f---d up things going on.

Buju wrote a song about an opinion of his, I don't personally agree with it. But it is the man's opinion. It shouldn't be a reason to not let him perform. It's like calling all people who listen to him "fag bashers" the same way people like to say that all folks that listen to electronic music are drug users or saying that anyone who listens to punk is a racist skinhead and so on and so on. By cancelling the show we are oppressing our most important freedom. That's the freedom of speech."

It was after that early success that Delly began to link up with Voice Mail, a collaboration that would once again establish him as a recording force to reckon with.

Together, they enjoyed a heady period when they reigned the charts. Now, oddly they have parted ways so much so that Delly said that the group leader Oneil 'only him have little realness and him link me up every now and then'.

Zumjay is a street legend in the ghettos of Jamaica. He has built his name and street rep one stage show at a time to the extent where he is a household name in dancehall circles even though he does not have a string of commercial hits behind his name.

Born Rohan Alphonso Stephens, this Waterhouse-reared deejay attended Kingston College and then Hydel High School where he raised the eyebrows of his fellow students with his offbeat, artfully conceptualized rhymes. One day, a parent, Michael Rutherford, impressed by the young talent's vocal abilities, arranged a studio cameo for him.

"I used to deejay all the time during lunch break, and Rutherford, who was a parent at K.C, heard about me, and invited me to the Dynamic Studio. So I did my first recording in 1994, I remember still having on my uniform and K.C tie. The song was not released but gave me a studio experience," he told YardFlex.com.

"There were over 900 people in the venue and about nine protesters outside. So it was clear that the people wanted to come and celebrate the release of Buju's album," Ms. McGregor told YardFlex.com.

Assassin - dancehall next flag bearer

assassin_dancehall_reggae_photos_beenie_man_sean_paul.jpgAssassin, or Sassin, is the tip of the iceberg in terms of the future of dancehall. Though relatively young in dancehall years, Assassin has grabbed the attention and support that many others slave for years to get.

Biting lyrics, clever phrases and slangs, plus controlled vocals have made the deejay stand out among his colleagues. His signature slogan 'Versatile' aptly summarizes Assassin as he eases through several topics in his cutting lyrics. From We A De Roughest, to How We Roll, to Girls Gone Wild, to Step Pon Dem, Assassin has shown a level of versatility that only seasoned veterans can achieve.

On the international front, it is believed he will become the next flag bearer, with his intelligent approach to the business.

Matterhorn VS VP Records
Who owns 'Dutty Wine'?

Tony_Matharoon_Baby_Cham_Bares_Hammond.jpgWho really owns Dutty Wine? Supa Hype the producer, or Matterhorn the songwriter/performer. The battle over rights triggered by VP's insistence on shows once again how our industry seems to be ignoring sound business practices.

Who can blame Matterhorn? Him hot right now, him waan a big money deal from Atlantic, but if VP block it until Dutty Wine stale out, dem can just get up and go to Jamaica, and quietly get the rights to all of Tony Matterhorn's songs, and just straight go put out a 'Best of Tony Matterhorn' and him jus' dead right de so. Still, his comments about producers having to sign something with him before him voice is highly unusual. Who really have the power in the business? The producers or the artistes. The way it look to me, the producers dem ah go get a beating from all angle.

But even as the Jamaican brand gains currency overseas in the lucrative US market, Bair seemed far more impressed with a newly forged business relationship Cooyah has with the African continent.

"We are the first clothing company to forge a partnership with someone in Africa, we are just trying to support our own, so we have Cooyah shirts made by Africans in Tanzania by the mountains of Kilimanjaro," Bair said, waxing poetic to YardFlex.com. "As black people, we have to support each other, and that's why they're developing new stuff for us here at Cooyah. Made in Tanzania, that's the lick."

Seltzer declined to reveal where or when Houston filed the divorce papers and said the singer had no statement to make.

"I can just confirm that she has filed for divorce," she told the AP.

In a possibly related development, word is Brown will be back in Norfolk Probate Court later this month to again answer charges that he is not paying child support for his two kids in Stoughton, LaPrincia and Bobby Brown Jr.

But it was the same process: Everyone getting all of their thoughts and ideas out on the table, then talking about which ideas to keep or throw out. P_diddy_Court.jpgAssociated Press

Sean Combs is Diddy no more - at least in Britain. The musician and entertainment mogul has agreed to drop the Diddy name as part of an out-of court legal settlement with London-based music producer Richard "Diddy" Dearlove, the law firm representing Dearlove said Monday.

Solicitors Jens Hills & Co. said Combs had agreed to "rebrand his commercial activities" in Britain and would "no longer be able to trade in the U.K. as 'Diddy.'" Combs' lawyer, Nigel Calvert, could not immediately be reached for comment.

Combs - formerly known as Puffy and Puff Daddy - has used the moniker P. Diddy since 2001, but last year decided to be known solely as Diddy.

Dearlove launched a lawsuit for unfair competition, claiming the name change had caused confusion. The case had been due to go to the High Court next month.

"I started getting e-mails from Puerto Rican girls asking if they could be in my video and people were asking me to look at their clothing line," Dearlove was quoted as saying by The Guardian newspaper.

Still, a large number of friends, family and members of the entertainment fraternity turned out to bid 'Culture' farewell in a beautiful ceremony occasioned by several musical and spiritual highs on Saturday at the the Emmanuel Apostolic Church, 12 Slipe Road in Kingston. Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller, Lloyd Evans (member of the Joseph 'Culture' Hill Planning Committee), Neville Willoughby of RJR, Natalie Corthesy, senior director of entertainment policy, family member, Erica Hill-Myers all gave glowing tributes to the fallen music icon. Afrine Hill-Walker delivered the eulogy.
Speaking with Yardflex.com, his son, Kenyatta, who will take up the mantle of being the lead singer of the Culture band, vowed to continue his father's legacy.

That's the latest news from the hip-hop icon. Sean "Diddy" Combs has announced he and his longtime girlfriend, model Kim Porter, are expecting twins.

A spokeswoman for Diddy confirmed the news to The Associated Press Tuesday.

A spokeswoman for model Porter confirmed that Diddy and Porter have two babies on the way. Diddy himself posted what he called an "emergency announcement" video on his myspace page saying, "Two more Combs. Two! World, you're in trouble now."

He also called himself a "champion." He said they learned they were having twins during a trip to the doctor after Diddy became concerned that Porter looked "kinda big for the amount of months she is."

It's More than Okay for Junior Reid

TheGame,JuniorReid,OneBlood,It'sOkay,HipHip,DancehallReggae.jpgJunior Reid has a big grin on his face these days. He is now in New York working on his upcoming album with Reefa, one of hip hops most talented producers. He just completed a five week swing through North America, playing in 30 cities across the western seaboard of the United States as well as Canada. And his combination single with The Game, 'It's Okay (One Blood)', the first single released for airplay only from The Game's sophomore album, The Doctor's Advocate, is generating major buzz in the streets.

The single has recently been added to the playlists of several urban radio stations across the US, and in the meantime, the video has been getting crazy love on BET and MTV.

"The video is being played worldwide. I was really pleased how The Game respected reggae music, and for him to sample 'One Blood' shows that he wants to send a powerful message of unity and peace to the world. There are a lot of things in the pipeline (with The Game), but right now, I am working on some phat reggae hip hop riddims with Reefa, we have completed about seven tracks so far," he told YardFlex.com during an international telephone interview this morning.

Akon, hip hop, sean paul, beenie man, sexy girls.jpgUniversal artist and world-wide phenomenon Akon is readying his much anticipated follow-up to his multi- platinum epic smash CD Trouble. The new disc titled Konvicted is scheduled to hit stores on December 12th. The first single, "Smack That," from the album, features none other than hip-hop icon, Eminem. The video for the new song, considered by many to be one of the hottest releases of the fall, is helmed by revered video director Benny Boom. Other guests on the new album include Snoop Dogg and Styles P.

The Akon magic also exploded across Europe with "Lonely" scoring a #1 in the UK, along with his album (as well as territories as diverse as Australia and Japan), with his single "Locked Up", locking down the Top 5 throughout the world, including France and the UK.

Akon rewarded fans this past November by releasing Trouble: Deluxe Edition, which contained his multi-platinum album Trouble, including a second bonus disc featuring never-before-released remixes. The talented singer/producer has also established himself as an in-demand production and writing wizard, most recently guesting on the much buzzed about appearance of India.Arie's first ever approved remix collaboration for her 2006 single, "I Am Not My Hair" and rapper

Foodatbeeniemanwedding, seanpaul, bountykiller, rihanna, sexygirlsA.jpgThere has been much speculation about last week's multi-million dollar fairytale wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Moses Davis, especially speculation about the whopping price tag. The all-white wedding reportedly cost almost $8 million (us$120,000), and could have cost more if the guest list had not been drastically slashed from 500 to 250 guests.

Mrs. Davis refused to verify the figure that our sources revealed to us but disclosed that it cost "an undetermined sum of money".

Whatever that means.

But even as she basked in marital bliss, D'Angel took the time to thank her wedding planner, Stephanie Taylor, for "tirelessly working, and going all out to make sure that the wedding was such a resounding success".

The wedding coordinator described the wedding as "the most expensive one I've done so far," she told YardFlex.com.

However, with the pristine venue, the shuttle bus service, the luxury limos, and the super-sized bridal parties. Whaddya expect? Our checks revealed that the wedding had an unusually high price tag. We also

FatanMojah-DownSound,reggaemusic,photo,seanpaul,beenieman.jpgThe rift between Downsound Records and Fantan Mojah slipped into another chapter last week with the publishing of a number of notices in the XNews and the Weekend Star that served to distance Downsound Records from any contractual agreements made on behalf of Owen Moncrieffe (a.k.a Fantan Mojah) by any other authority or agent.

"I don't want any harm to come to Fantan, but you cannot breach the terms of such covenants. Contracts are the very basis of civilized business practices, disregarding our contractual arrangement in the entertainment biz, will only give further strength to misconception that the entertainment business is very disorganized in Jamaica," Joseph Bogdanovich, CEO of Downsound Records told YardFlex.com.

"We are always available for constructive dialogue," he added.

But Fantan simply said: Anything Joe want to do, he can do. I am Jacob Miller, mi love the people and the people in love with me. Mi nah back down from, him want me to be my slavemaster, him want to pay

Will Gay-Dar Hurt Dancehall?

AS GRAMMY award winner Beenie Man, platinum-selling artiste Bounty Killer, and former reggae Grammy nominee Buju Banton continue to fall under the baleful 'gay-dar' of the United Kingdom's most forceful gay rights group OutRage in a renewed campaign because they have declared that the truce has been broken.

The question on everyone's lips is: could the political pressure signal the death throes of dancehall and reggae in Europe as more concerts get cancelled? The answer? A resounding no way!
The Jamaica Federation of Musicians President Desmond Young downplayed the idea that this unrelenting gay-rights offensive could represent a significant loss in earnings for all artistes involved in reggae music.

"We're not alarmed at this development because in no way does it spell doom for the music industry. The majority of our artistes are cultural artistes, and what you must remember is that only a few dancehall artistes which the media often focuses on even mention homosexuals in their songs, and I have always believed that mentioning them so often only promotes them," Mr. Young told YardFlex.com. "It is unfortunate that this situation has

NEW YORK: Where is Eminem when you need him?

pinkmusic,MTV,photos, seanpaul, rihanna, beenieman.jpgDespite Shakira's ever-gyrating hips, Justin Timberlake's Sexy Back and the obscured image of a naked midget, Thursday night's MTV Video Music Awards were devoid of spontaneity.

"You didn't bring the thunder. You didn't bring anything," host Jack Black, looking at himself in his dressing room mirror, said during one skit, unintentionally summing up the evening.

James Blunt and Gnarls Barkley each took home two awards. Pink's parody of bubble-headed pop tarts, Stupid Girls, won for best pop video; Beyonce took home the best R&B video trophy for her booty-shaking Check On It; and Fall Out Boy won the viewer's choice award for Dance, Dance.

But nobody except a video choreographer's mother watches this show for the awards. Fans watch for the censor-flouting skits, nearly naked starlets, foul-mouthed speeches and those embarrassingly bad dance numbers.

The artiste's highly anticipated new album, 'Foreva' will be released next year, and he knows that once that album hits stores, he will have to be on the grind again, and separated from his family.

"Mi meet Voice Mail in 2004 when it was five of them. They used to sing harmony for me, and then, dem slim down to three. One day, I was at Big Yard, writing a song for Tony Kelly's 'Grinding' when this tune come inna mi head, 'Say She Want It Hard', and same time, dem walk through the gate, and mi say to dem, 'da song ah go buss oonu'.

Zumjay is a street legend in the ghettos of Jamaica. He has built his name and street rep one stage show at a time to the extent where he is a household name in dancehall circles even though he does not have a string of commercial hits behind his name.

"People need more Zumjay in their lives, slowly but surely, we'll never do it poorly," he promised.

Who can blame Matterhorn? The addled, faded songbird who stood by her man through arrests, jail time, numerous cases of reported infidelity, career setbacks, tabloid scandals and public embarrassments, has had enough, Houston’s rep Nancy Seltzer confirmed.

YardFlex Girl of the week - Brazil

Ana_Beatriz_Barros_models_sexy_girls_Dancehall_Reggae.jpgAna Beatriz Barros was born in Itabira, a tiny town in Brazil, on May 29, 1982. Ana was raised in the cosmopolitan Rio de Janeiro after her family moved there. The blue-eyed statuesque beauty was discovered by the Director of Elite Model Management, while vacationing in Brazil. It didn't take much for him to see that she was absolute model material, and he encouraged her to enter the Elite Look of the Year contest. ...

In 1996, Ana placed first in the Brazilian Elite Look of the Year, and second in the International level of the same contest, that same year. With a national Elite Look of the Year championship and a modeling contract with the agency, Ana was ready for the big leagues: in this case, Guess?.

Once Paul Marciano (Co-chairman and Co-CEO of Guess?, responsible for the careers of Eva Herzigova, Kim Smith and Josie Maran) received Ana's impressive portfolio on behalf of Elite, he knew he had a new Guess? girl on his hands.

janet_jackson_Hip_Hop_Beenie_Man_Sean_Paul_Rihanna.jpgJanet Jackson opens up. The singer recently had an interview with Billboard, where she spoke out about various topics, including her newest album, the wardrobe ordeal and more.

About the new LP:

This album takes me to a place where I haven't been in a while: R&B and dance. I give that credit to Jermaine. I like to say he brought the country to the album, while he says he brought the ghetto [laughs].

On her possible Mariah collaborative effort:

We want to do something together, and we're trying to make something happen. However, it's been really tough since she's on tour. But it's something we definitely desire to do.

On JD and others in the studio:

This time it was four of us collaborating -- Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Jermaine and myself. But it was the same process: Everyone getting all of their thoughts and ideas out on the table, then talking about which ideas to keep or throw out. [Singer/songwriter] Johnta Austin also played a part in the album.

Singing_Melody_Dancehall_reggae_beenie_man_Sean_paul_Rihanna.jpgYardFlex.com would like to extend its regrets to the family of Singing Melody who are going through a rough time now, dealing with a tragedy in the family. According to news reports, Singing Melody's 17 year-old son Kemar was shot in the back by armed gunmen in the Waltham Park area on the Sunday before Independence.

One of the shots hit him in the back, the shot traveled up his spinal column through his neck, and lodged in his head, and the warhead is still lodged at the back of his right eye as doctors are reluctant to move it because of the delicate spot it is located. Kemar, a St. Catherine High school grad, cannot see out of his right eye, but doctors say his youth may expedite the healing process. Our prayers are with him and his family in this dark time.

"It happened fast, I never expected it to happen. My mother had just come from foreign and was staying on the Waltham, I had gone to look for her and was outside a bar, talking to my friend when a man came up to us and asked us for a man. Diddy Can't Be Diddy in Britain

JosephHill_Culture_Funeral_Photos_Reggae_Bob_Marley.jpgThe rows of empty pews spoke volumes about the scant regard that most Jamaicans appeared to convey towards an icon who was revered in the West African countries of Ghana and Nigeria, but treated with only an iota of that same accord and awe in his native country.

"He was a wonderful man, loving, supportive, all anyone could ask for in a father, he was the one who guided me through, and I will walk proudly in his footsteps," he said.

He is a graduate of St. Catherine High with several CXC passes but refuse to continue in the path of academics. Music is where his heart is.

His pursuit led him to Dillon Reid of Manatee Records, who was impressed with his lyrical bravado and rushed him to the studios to record two tracks entitled, 'Money Haffi Mek' and 'Saturday Night' both of which did well. G:Maffiah went on to work with other prominent Producers such as Jah Snow Cone, Lady G, Mickey John of Lion Paw Production, Power Mix Records Entertainment out of New York, Kingston 6 Rekords/BYG Family Muzik and King Jammys.

Formerly known as Krayzie Hype, G:Maffiah sought to change his name after Elephant Man recorded "Dance De Crazy Hype" as this had people confused and thought he was a dancer.

The artiste's highly anticipated new album, 'Foreva' will be released next year, and he knows that once that album hits stores, he will have to be on the grind again, and separated from his family.

Fans Support Buju Banton - "freedom of speech."

Delly_Ranx_Big_Ship_records.jpgJuggling his recording career skillfully, along with a gruelling production schedule, Delly Ranx has kept coming with the goods from the moment he dropped the critically well-received 'Macka Tree', a one–drop rhythm in 2003.

"Mi meet Voice Mail in 2004 when it was five of them. They used to sing harmony for me, and then, dem slim down to three. Zumjay_Dancehall_reggae_beenie_man_Sean_paul.jpg

Buju_Banton_Tour_Gays_Reggae_Dancehall_Beenie_man_Elephant_man.jpgA Buju Banton concert in the town of Bloomington,Indiana was cancelled last week as gay rights activists in that town launched an aggressive campaign to stop the reggae superstar from performing at a
local nightclub.

Banton's record label, Gargamel Music, Inc., expressed disappointment over the cancellation of the show. Vice President Tracii McGregor called the protests of Banton's performance "insignificant and baseless".

Members of the gay community have been dogging Banton's 'Too Bad' tour for the last few weeks. Last week, in Chicago, the Gay Liberation Network staged protests outside the House of Blues where he was set to perform.

"There were over 900 people in the venue and about nine protesters outside. So it was clear that the people wanted to come and celebrate the release of Buju's album," Ms. McGregor told YardFlex.com.

DJELLE_CHINGOBLING-1.jpgWhile finding feminine faces behind the turntables has become more and more frequent in New York City's ever-evolving nightlife scene, few female DJs have earned a resume that compares with DJ Elle's.

Originally drawn to the cross-fader by her love of blended music and the desire to share her impeccable taste with the carousing masses, Elle (pronounced "el") began learning her craft back in 1998. Inspired by legends such as DJ Stretch Armstrong, Red Alert, Coco Channel, Jazzy Joyce and Evil Dee, the New York City native spent countless hours practicing her mixing skills and studying recordings of her blends. Although Elle is primarily self-taught, she credits practicing with DJs such as A.Vee, Lyve and Ava as valuable experiences. "I still practice with DJs 'til this day," she reports. "It helps keep things fresh."

Although she respects turntablism - and had the opportunity to spin between sets at the renowned DMC DJ battles in 2004 at Webster Hall - Elle remains most focused on getting the party popping. A versatile performer, she is comfortable spinning for both underground and mainstream crowds. "I just do my thing," she says nonchalantly, "Depending on the parties and the clubs I'm at, I change my selection up to suit the crowd I will be playing for." The parties, clubs and

assassin_dancehall_reggae_photos_beenie_man_sean_paul.jpgAssassin, or Sassin, is the tip of the iceberg in terms of the future of dancehall.

Seltzer declined to reveal where or when Houston filed the divorce papers and said the singer had no statement to make.

In a possibly related development, word is Brown will be back in Norfolk Probate Court later this month to again answer charges that he is not paying child support for his two kids in Stoughton, LaPrincia and Bobby Brown Jr.

I cannot forget where I come from/No 'mount of money can change man/Still blaze the skunk/But some leave the ghetto, get rich and tun punk. - Rude Boy Pledge

babycham_Ghetto_Story.jpgIn this poker game that we call the music industry, music insiders feel that artistes like Baby Cham is playing with a loaded hand. He is supremely talented, he's got arguably the greatest producer of his generation, Dave Kelly in his corner, he only puts out one great project a year, and he has the devilish the good looks to relax the thighs of any young girl he looks on.

Man, who wouldn't want to be Damian 'Baby Cham' Beckett?

"Some people may think that it is easy, not doing a lot of songs every year like other dancehall artistes but it is hard, I only have one shot to fire so I cannot miss, while another deejay might do 35 songs, he has plenty of back up in case he misses, so my thing requires tremendous precision," the 6'2 star told YardFlex.com.

Baby Cham is currently on a Summer-long local promotional tour, which is titled 'Giving Back'. He will be making islandwide appearances at various community events during the tour. He has cleared his schedule until early October to give himself enough time to get back in touch with his fans.
